Umm Al Quwain

Just over an hour’s drive from Dubai, the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain offers coastal mangroves and several pretty islands east of the mainland. The largest island, Al Seniah, is home to Arabian gazelles, falcons and turtles, making it a popular place for nature lovers.

Umm Al Quwain offers a range of recreational activities from sailing to skydiving. Traditional activities such as dhow building and sports such as camel racing and falconry are extremely popular in the Emirate.

Sharjah

With museums, light shows and Arabic architecture, Sharjah is the cultural heart of the UAE.

Less than an hour away from Dubai, the Emirate of Sharjah is another up-and-coming tourism hub which is experiencing major growth.

Along with must-do activities in the UAE, like going on a desert safari or taking a dhow cruise, Sharjah offers a range of museums and historical sites for visitors to explore, and is widely considered as the nation’s cultural capital.

Ajman

Offering palm trees, white sand and crystal-clear water, Ajman is a great choice for a beach holiday in the UAE.

Ajman is the smallest of the seven Emirates which comprise the United Arab Emirates. Only a forty minute drive from Dubai, it is definitely worth checking out.

Ajman is a pretty paradise with palm trees, pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters, making it a great choice for a beach holiday or a stopover on the way to destinations such as the Maldives.

Dubai

Fujairah

With rugged mountains, waterfalls and sandy beaches, Fujairah is the perfect place to relax in the UAE.

Less than a two hour drive from Dubai you will find the Emirate of Fujairah which is the only Emirate lying on the country’s eastern side along the Gulf of Oman.

Fujairah is distinguished with its rugged mountains, valleys, waterfalls, oases and wide sandy beaches. It also features several hot, cold and mineral springs.

Ras Al-Khaimah

Offering mountains, wildlife, and luxury, Ras Al Khaimah is a great place to visit in the UAE.

Less than a two hour drive from Dubai you will find the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah which is located in the northernmost point of the United Arab Emirates.

Ras Al Khaimah is an up-and-coming tourism hub which is experiencing exponential growth. It has scenic locations with diverse landscapes ranging from rolling sand dunes, coastal strips, salt flats, mangroves and mountains.

There are sulfur springs near to the mountain areas and the Emirate is home to a diverse range of wildlife including foxes, jerboas and hundreds of bird species.

Abu Dhabi

Offering adventure activities, luxury hotels, and beautiful beaches, Abu Dhabi is the perfect Middle Eastern escape.

The incredible Yas Island is home to the Yas Marina Formula 1ᵀᴹ circuit, world-class water and amusement parks, including Ferrari World featuring the world’s fastest rollercoaster, and Warner Bros. World. It even has an 18 hole championship golf course and much more!

Abu Dhabi is bursting with food stalls, cafes and stylish restaurants serving up aromatic and flavourful Emirati cuisine, as well as popular dishes from around the globe.
